"Streams of Mercy"
This processional painting on silk was commissioned by Saint James Cathedral in Seattle, Washington, to commemorate the Year of Mercy designated by Pope Francis in 2015. “Streams of Mercy” has been used for many occasions, both indoor and outdoor.
The painted piece is created using fiber-reactive dyes on silk and measures 9’ x 4’ and is carried on a processional pole. Colors of the Year of Mercy are combined with reds and violets to express mercy never ceasing.
